Note that a large LWB van or Sprinter can carry around 1.1 tonne, capacity <14m3 (500 cu. ft.)

A 3.5 tonne vehicle can carry around 1.3 tonne, capacity <18m3 (650 cu. ft.)

A 7.5 tonne vehicle can carry around 3 tonne, capacity <35m3 (1250 cu. ft.)

A 17 / 18 tonne rigid lorry can carry around 9 tonne, capacity <46m3 (1650 cu. ft.)
